Packages and Pricing
All-Inclusive Family Photography Prices for Myrtle Beach
Every Myrtle Beach family photography session is all inclusive: no sitting fees, no hidden charges, the number I quote is the number you pay. What it costs comes down to three things, and prices scale with your session rather than sitting in fixed packages, so you only ever pay for what your family's session actually needs. Send me your dates and I'll reply with current prices and options right away.
I've photographed hundreds of families visiting Myrtle Beach since 2010, from small immediate family sessions to large multigenerational beach reunions. Every session is photographed personally by me, and every gallery is individually edited before it reaches you.
Why Family Session Pricing Varies
01
Session Length
A longer session means more locations, more outfit changes, and more variety in your gallery. Families with toddlers often do better with a little extra time, since it leaves room for snacks, breaks, and warming up to the camera. I plan the timeline around sunset, when the light is best, and set the pace so the whole evening stays calm.
02
Group Size
A single household is a different job from a large family reunion of twenty five. Bigger groups need more time to pose, more coordination between households, and enough frames to cover every combination: the whole family, each household, the cousins, and the grandparents. I plan the groupings in advance and keep everyone comfortable, so nobody stands around waiting in the heat.
03
Dates and Travel
Sunset dates in peak summer weeks book out first, along with holiday weeks and spring break, when vacationing families fill the coast and the sunset light is at its best. Reserve early if your trip lands in one of those windows. I cover the entire Grand Strand at no extra charge, with a small adjustment only for locations well outside my regular area.
Which Family Session Is Right for You?
The Immediate Family
A relaxed hour on the sand for your household, with plenty of full group frames plus individual shots of each of the kids. It is the classic session, and still the one most families book. We start with everyone together, then move through natural, guided moments: walking the shoreline, the kids tucked between mom and dad, the quiet in between frames that tend to become everyone's favorites.
Extended & Multigenerational
When grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all together, I build in extra time and plan the grouping in advance, so we capture the whole family, each household, and the generations together without anyone standing around waiting. These reunions are often the reason everyone traveled. You leave with the big portrait for the wall and all the smaller combinations too.
Vacation Sessions
Most of the families I photograph are visiting the coast for a week, so we plan everything before your trip and shoot on the evening that fits your schedule. It is usually an hour around sunset, and because my turnaround is fast you will often have the full gallery before you drive home. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the beach.
Every Age, Handled
With toddlers, I keep the session short, loose, and led by them, so we get real moments before anyone melts down, and I never force a nervous little one to perform. With older kids and teenagers, I lean into natural interaction and an editorial feel, so the photos look like them at this age instead of posed and stiff.

Each of these matters more than a checklist suggests. Your full print release means albums, wall art, holiday gifts, and archival prints at any size without ever buying anything extra from me. Individual editing on every frame, rather than a single batch filter, is what keeps skin tones natural and color true to the coast. And because the gallery is delivered within 2 to 3 days, most vacationing families are sharing their portraits before they have even driven home. The high resolution files are yours to keep and print anywhere, and the planning that comes first, from your location to your timeline, is built in so nothing is left to chance.
Before Your Session
A little planning makes the evening easy. Plan to arrive about fifteen minutes early so we start the moment the light turns. Most of my locations, from Myrtle Beach State Park to Huntington Beach State Park, have nearby parking and simple beach access, and I send exact directions once your spot is set. Bring water, a light layer for the breeze, and anything that keeps young kids happy between frames. For clothing, start with my family outfit guide, then keep colors soft and coordinated. If the forecast looks unsettled, we watch it together and shift the day or time rather than fight it.
My goal is to make this easy. As a Myrtle Beach photographer, I've photographed families on this coast since 2010, hundreds of sessions across every beach, tide, and season, and many of the same families come back year after year to mark how the kids have grown. When you reach out, I'll check availability for your dates, recommend the session and location that fit your group, and answer anything you are wondering about, from what happens if the weather shifts to which spots work best for grandparents who would rather not walk far. There is no pressure to book. Send me your vacation dates and group size and I'll send back current prices and session options.
