Where Myrtle Beach Families Go for Their Portraits
Pasha Belman is a Myrtle Beach family photographer with 15+ years of experience photographing families along the Grand Strand. Myrtle Beach Family Photography at Sunrise and Sunset
Myrtle Beach State Park | Surfside Beach | Garden City Beach | The Pier
Myrtle Beach gives families wide open shoreline, soft golden light, and uncrowded sand at sunrise. Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach offer quieter stretches favored for relaxed family sessions just south of Myrtle Beach proper. Pasha Belman photographs Myrtle Beach family portraits at both ends of the day, with timing built around the cleanest light the South Carolina coast produces.
North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove, and Ocean Drive Family Photographer
Cherry Grove | Ocean Drive | Crescent Beach | Tilghman Beach
Families staying north of the main strip often want their session close to home. Pasha Belman photographs in Cherry Grove for soft tidal light at the inlet, on Ocean Drive and Crescent Beach for classic North Myrtle Beach shoreline, and along Tilghman for quieter sand. North Myrtle Beach family sessions are scheduled around your rental, your group size, and the tide.
Myrtle Beach Extended Family and Reunion Photographer
10 to 50+ Guests | Beach Group Portraits | Multi Day Reunions
Myrtle Beach brings generations together. Pasha Belman has photographed family reunions along the Grand Strand ranging from ten people to groups of fifty across multiple homes and rental properties. Every gathering gets the same direction and the same editorial polish. Multigenerational beach portraits, full extended family group shots, and candid moments between grandparents and grandchildren are all part of a Myrtle Beach reunion session.
Family Photography in Pawleys Island, Litchfield, Murrells Inlet, and DeBordieu
Pawleys Island | Litchfield Beach | Murrells Inlet | DeBordieu Colony
Many Myrtle Beach family sessions extend down the coast to the quieter beaches south of the city. Pasha Belman photographs family portraits on Pawleys Island, along Litchfield Beach, around Murrells Inlet, and inside the DeBordieu Colony gates. Whether your family is renting in Pawleys, staying in Litchfield, or visiting the Grand Strand for a long weekend, your session is planned around your home base and the location your family loves most.
Myrtle Beach family photographer serving Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Litchfield, DeBordieu, Conway, Georgetown, Little River, and the surrounding Grand Strand.
Planning Your Myrtle Beach Family Session
When is the best time for a Myrtle Beach family beach session?
Sunrise and the hour before sunset. Beaches are quieter, light is soft, and kids handle the heat better. Sunrise sessions in summer start as early as 6:15 AM. Evening sessions wrap by the time the sun touches the horizon.
How far in advance should we book?
Four to six months ahead for peak summer weeks. Spring and fall typically fill up two to three months out. If your trip is already booked, reach out as soon as you have travel dates so we can hold the best window of light for your family.
What should our family wear on the beach?
Soft neutrals work best on the coast. Whites, creams, sand tones, dusty blue, sage, and warm earth tones photograph beautifully against Grand Strand sand and water. Skip heavy logos, bright reds, and fully matching outfits.
How much does a Myrtle Beach family photography session cost?
Pricing is custom to your session length, group size, and the time of year you're visiting. Reach out with your travel dates and we will send tailored pricing the same day.
