Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: October 8, 2026

Pasha Belman Photography wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

1. What we have done

  • Every page has one main heading and headings in a logical order, with landmarks and a “Skip to content” link at the top.
  • Photographs have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • All links, buttons, menus and forms can be used with a keyboard alone, and the item you are on shows a visible focus outline.
  • Form fields have labels, and error messages are written in text.
  • Text is sized and colored to be readable, and pages reflow on phones and tablets and when zoomed in.
  • Photo slideshows can be paused, and moving effects are turned off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.

2. How we check

We test pages with an automated accessibility scanner (axe) and review keyboard use, zoom and layout by hand. We re-check the site when we make larger changes. Automated tools cannot catch everything, so some issues may still exist.

3. Known limits

  • The contact form is provided by our client-management system, Tave, and is built by that provider. We have asked for it to meet the same standard and will offer another way to reach us if it ever does not work for you.
  • Photo descriptions on older Journal posts are being improved over time. Some are short and based on the post topic and location.
  • Some third-party content, such as embedded maps or social links, is outside our control.

4. Tell us about a problem

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in another format, please let us know using our contact form. Include the page address and what happened, and we will work on a fix or find another way to help you.
