Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

Pasha Belman Photography (“PBP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through https://pashabelman.com (the “Website”) and our photography services, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

By using the Website or contacting us, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website.

1. Information We Collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, session or event date and location, the number of people in your group, and any message or details you send through our contact form, by email, by phone or by text.
  • Client and booking information: details needed to plan, contract, invoice and deliver your session, such as addresses, contact details for the people involved, and the photographs we create for you.
  • Payment information: payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.
  • Usage data collected automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location and time of visit.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and scripts that help the Website work, measure traffic and support advertising (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries and send availability, pricing and booking details.
  • To plan, perform, invoice and deliver photography services and to communicate with you about them.
  • To send updates, offers or newsletters, only where you have opted in or where the law allows, and always with a way to unsubscribe.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Website.
  • To measure how visitors use the Website and the effectiveness of our marketing.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and unlawful activity, and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our client-management and contact-form system (Tave), website hosting, email, payment, scheduling, analytics and advertising providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Where required by law, subpoena, court order or government request.
  • To protect the rights, property or safety of PBP, our clients, our visitors or others, or to enforce our agreements.
  • In connection with a sale, merger or transfer of all or part of our business, in which case the information would remain subject to this policy.

4. Photographs of Clients

Photographs we take of you or your family are personal information and are handled as part of your service. We do not publish client photographs on the Website, social media, in advertising or in print without the permission set out in your client agreement or your separate consent. Gallery and delivery links are provided only to the people you designate, and you are responsible for how you share them.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how the Website is used, and support advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). These providers may collect information about your visit and use it under their own privacy policies.

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through tools such as Google’s Ads Settings and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Website work. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; because there is no common standard for them, the Website does not currently respond to those signals.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to provide services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted or anonymized after a reasonable period. Client contracts, invoices and delivered galleries may be kept longer.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No website, network or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information with us at your own risk, and you should not send us sensitive information such as full card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords by email or through the contact form.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, including under the laws of California and other U.S. states, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to exceptions such as legal, tax and contractual record-keeping.
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
  • Not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.

To make a request, use the contact form below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the Website. Information about children that a parent or guardian provides in order to book a session, for example names and ages for planning, is used only for that purpose. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to Other Websites

The Website may link to third-party websites and services, including maps, social media and review sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies before giving them information.

11. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools

We may use AI tools, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, to help draft or improve Website content and general communications. We do not enter clients’ sensitive personal information into AI tools, and we do not allow client photographs to be used to train AI models. Our use of AI does not change how we handle your personal information under this policy.

12. Transfers

We operate in the United States, and information we collect is stored and processed here and by providers that may be located in other places. By using the Website, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the updated policy.
