Alycia and Grant’s wedding day at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, SC was absolutely beautiful, and we are so glad we were there to document it for the happy couple. Alycia and Grant are originally from Florida with family ties in South Carolina. Alycia have been coming to South Carolina with her family for many years, including a few special trips for her and her sister’s senior portraits in Myrtle Beach with our studio. Ever since, Alycia knew that when the time is right, Pasha Belman will be photographing her wedding.

Alycia and Grant wanted a small destination wedding that will be shared with the closest people in their lives. So while looking at different wedding venues across the coast of South Carolina, they fell in love with Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, SC. They instantly knew that this historic garden will make their guests feel at home while providing the most beautiful backdrops for all the special moments of their wedding day. Fall brings the blooms of azaleas and camellias to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. It also brings rainy days that make this beautiful place even more charming and whimsical. Just like that, all of a sudden Alycia and Grant’s wedding was unfolding in the enchanted gardens from a fairytale

Schoolhouse Pond Lawn overlooking the Ashley River was a perfect place for their I-do’s. Surrounded by majestic oaks draped with Spanish moss, Alycia and Grant made a lifelong promise to each other, and this moment couldn’t be more special. After the ceremony, the guests proceeded to the Conservatory for their cocktail hour on the waterfront deck. This beautiful reception venue was hidden in the gardens right across the cherished Red Bridge. Inside, Conservatory  looked even more charming. Guests mingled during intimate candlelit dinner among tropical gardens and then had the best time dancing the night away on the dock. Alycia and Grant’s wedding was very beautiful and whimsical, but most importantly, very heartwarming for everyone who was there.
